Rail~Volution 2018 Call for Speakers: Now Open—through March 22
What’s the revolution you’re seeking in transportation and community development? Submit your idea for a presentation about what it means to build livable, connected communities today. New this year: submit a video for the Rail~Volution Innovation Challenge.
We particularly encourage proposals focused on the community vision for current and new mobility options. We want to hear from community-based organizations and activists, city staff and leaders, and mobility innovators.
Make sure your idea is in the mix! Expand the network of people who plan, build, finance and advocate for livable communities.
The annual Rail~Volution conference brings great thinking together about every aspect of transit, related mobility options, and community development. We bring diverse minds, perspectives, and industries together to explore real-world examples, share implementable ideas, and ask tough questions. Our name may be Rail~Volution, but our network supports communities as they integrate transportation in all forms – including buses, rail, bicycles, walking, sharing, and new, emerging options – to connect people with employers and neighborhoods.
The Rail~Volution National Steering Committee, made up of 40+ livability professionals from across the United States and Canada, puts together each year’s conference, drawing on the proposals submitted through the Call for Speakers. Your proposal will be reviewed not just for your abstract, but also for your expertise on a specific topic or broad range of topics. See full information about how to submit here.
